Amount Ingredient Name Description
4 cups Quick cooking oats
1/3 cup Canola oil
1/3 cup Agave nectar
1/4 cup Organic maple syrup
2 teaspoons Almond extract
1/8 cup Crystallized ginger Chopped
1/2 cup Dried cranberries (or) goji berries soaked in apple juice, then drained
3 tablespoons Sesame seeds
1/2 cup Almonds Chopped
1/2 cup Walnuts Chopped
3 tablespoons Flaxseeds Optional

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 400F. Place oats on a baking sheet.

2. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, until lightly toasted. Turn oven to 350F.

3. Mix remaining ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir in oats. If mixture seems too dry, add a little more oil.

4. Spray a 9X13 pan with cooking spray and press oat mixture evenly in the pan. Press in flaxseeds on top of the bars if desired.

5. Bake 25 minutes, until golden. When cool, cut into bars and store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
